The suspense! The upsets! The Cinderellas!
Welcome to the final four of our March Madness taco bracket. Just like their real-life counterparts, these last four teams have arrived with plenty of action-packed drama.
The biggest upset from our Elite Eight round has to be Los Dos Potrillos against top-seeded El Taco de Mexico, with 56% of your votes.
Another Cinderella story: Tacos Selene won its match-up against Garibaldi Mexican Bistro, with 55% of votes. Beloved Kike’s Red Tacos (64%) moves forward after defeating popular newcomer La Diabla.
And finally, top-seeded Mexico City Lounge advances after a narrow win (51%) against underdog Xicamiti.
Voting for the playoffs is open below or at dpo.st/3ip0bUf through 9 a.m. on Monday, March 28. Play fair and good luck!

The Final Four Taco matchups
Tacos Selene vs. Los Dos Potrillos
It’s a duel between two suburbanites: Tacos Selene with its humble Aurora beginnings and a Littleton outpost; and Los Dos Potrillos with its small empire across Parker, Centennial, Highlands Ranch and Littleton. Los Dos is the one to beat, but Selene is an underdog to watch closely at this phase in the competition. Will it be the straightforward street tacos or the sit-down platters with margs to match?
Kike’s Red Tacos vs. Mexico City Lounge
Old stalwart meets new favorite in this decadent match-up. Kike’s is a modern birria master, with rich flavors from melty cheese and consomme-dipped meat, plus the perfect crispy tortilla crunch. But Mexico City has had decades to perfect its fried steak tacos, tender and oh-so-flavorful with melted (American) cheese plus lettuce and tomato for that perfect burger-like bite.
