Davina McCall feels ‘violated’ after burglars break into boyfriend’s home and steal safe

TV star Davina McCall, 52, has spoken out about a burglary while in Spain filming scenes for her new television programme. The presenter said she was left with a “horrible feeling” following the incident.

Burglars broke into her boyfriend’s home in London and stole a safe containing valuables.

“It’s just feeling violated. Anyone who’s been ­burgled knows what that feels like,” Davina said during a recent podcast appearance.

“It makes you want to move out of your house immediately. I hate it.

“It’s a horrible horrible feeling,” she added.

Davina has been dating hairdresser Michel Douglas, 47, for about two years.

The couple were abroad while the TV star filmed the Language of Love when they spoke about the past robbery.

The hair stylist, who is regularly seen on This Morning, has now ramped up the security at his property, changed the locks and installed CCTV.

It sends him a notification if anyone were to enter his home.

Now back in the UK, she is shining a light on menopause awareness, talking about the symptoms of the condition every day in October.

She took to Instagram this morning to share an update with her 1.4 million followers.

The mum-of-three, who had been very candid about her own experiences with the menopause, explained that anxiety and depression were experienced by some.

“I always thought menopause was just hot flushes and brain fog. One of the other symptoms is Anxiety and low mood/ depression,” she wrote online.
