Coach dating model 25 years his junior

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer and supermodel Katarina Miketin have been rumoured to be dating since last year, and the last few days have brought new evidence.

This past week, the web site Awesomo shared photos of the two together at dinner.

Not that more evidence is really needed, but the website Egotastic Sports reached out to Miketin through Instagram DMs, asked her if it was true she is dating a football coach, and she said it was.

She also shared an Instagram story of herself in a suite for Vikings vs. Packers on Sunday.

Miketin, 40, is the cover model for the December 2021 edition of Maxim Australia.

Mitekin told Maxim that her parents were immigrants from Yugoslavia, and that she has read over 100 books in the past year.

“Ask any of my friends, I have no ‘type,’” she said, when asked what she looks for in a man. “If I were to say what I am attracted to, I would say it is someone who is secure, extremely loyal, very driven and loves a healthy lifestyle.

“My heart is big and is receptive – almost to a fault. He can surprise me with little things. I love flowers, I love when he helps me out and makes little gestures that make my life easier. If they take my dog to the vet or go grocery shopping for me, I am theirs! I hate grocery shopping.”

Zimmer, 65, is in his eighth season as head coach of the Vikings and is coming off a potentially season-changing 34-31 win over the rival Packers. He was previously defensive co-ordinator of the Bengals, Falcons, and Cowboys.

Zimmer’s wife, Vicki, died unexpectedly in 2009 of natural causes at the age of 50.
