CLAT 2024: Application correction ends today; Here’s how to make changes – Times of India

The Consortium of National Law Universities- the organising board of CLAT, will be closing the correction window for CLAT 2024.
Candidates who had registered for the exam can make changes in their applications till today i.e. November 12, 2023, 11:59PM.
Candidates will be allowed to make changes on the following fields:
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Category/reservation
  • Eligibility qualifications
  • Preferred examination centres

They will be able to edit their application form son the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
How to make changes in your CLAT 2024 application
Step 1: Go to the official website- consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2: Log in: On the homepage, access your account by logging in.
Step 3: Edit your application: Once logged in, locate the option to make corrections to your application. It could be under a specific tab or menu.
Step 4: Save changes: After making the necessary corrections, ensure to save them. Look for a ‘Save’ or ‘Update’ button.
Step 5: Submit your updated application: Finally, submit your application after making corrections.
Announcing on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) the consortium stated, “You can update the Test Centre Location indicated in your application form till 11.59 P.M. on Nov 12, 2023. Please note subsequent requests for this change will not be accepted.”

Candidates are required to indicate their preference for the National Law Universities (NLUs) in which they are applying for admission when filling out the application form.
In order to complete the application form, general category candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs. 4,000. Candidates who belong to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), or Below Poverty Line (BPL) must pay a registration fee of Rs. 3,500. Furthermore, candidates must pay 500 rupees for their question papers.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs). It is conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by the 24 CNLUs in India, as well as over 60 other law colleges participating in the exam.
