Thought you could only get Black Friday deals on your Christmas shopping?

Think again, because you could be about to bag a bargain on a new home.

There are currently fantastic offers available on housing, with freebies ranging from prizes, deposit contributions and stamp duty discounts.

Read on below to see some of the best deals for buyers in and around London.

Everyone’s a winner

All buyers who view or reserve a Peabody home from this Friday to December 15 have the chance to win a prize, from £500 cashback to £1,000 towards stamp duty or £1,500 for legal fees.

A selection of Shared Ownership developments are involved, including the River Gardens in Greenwich, from £115,000 for a 25 per cent share of a one-bedroom flat worth £460k, T’s&C’s apply.

Incentives packages

Huntley Wharf is reducing reservation fees to just £99

Christmas has come early for buyers of L&Q’s shared ownership homes. If you reserve by the end of the month, you’ll only pay a £99 reservation fee instead of the usual £500, and will be given £500 in John Lewis vouchers when completing.

The incentive is offered at most developments, including Huntley Wharf in Reading, where prices start at £71,250 for a 25% share of a one-bedroom flat, full market value £285,000.

Incentives worth £15,000 are up for grabs at Fairview developments Kingston East in New Malden, KT3, with prices from £292,000; NewHayes in Hayes, west London, where apartments start at £280,000, and Regency Heights in Park Royal, NW10, from £399,000.

All this month, each scheme is giving away up to £10,000 in vouchers, cashback, deposit contributions or money towards a new car, while buyers this weekend can also secure £2,500 John Lewis vouchers and a £2,500 tech bundle.

Buyers at the Plaza Collection will get a tailor-made benefits package

Cancel your plans this weekend and make tracks for Plaza Collection in Mill Hill, NW7, as Poly UK is giving prospective purchasers of the one and two-bedroom apartments tailor-made packages worth £10,000 to £15,000.

These include a mix of furniture packs, legal fees, service charge contributions and two-year Virgin Active memberships, and the homes start at £400,000 (down from £416,000) with Help to Buy available.

Make a move to a one or two-bedroom apartment at Elizabeth Park in Hersham, Surrey and you won’t have to worry about the cost of kitting it out, as until Christmas Bewley Homes is providing a furniture pack worth £8,000 on selected plots, plus £1,000 towards legal fees. Homes start from £330,000.

Deposit contribution

Boost your deposit by 5% with Latimer

Latimer by Clarion Housing Group is offering a 5% deposit boost on selected reservations from November 26-29.

Among the participating developments are Conningbrook Lakes in Ashford, Kent, with three-bedroom houses from £350,000; The Boulevard in Southwark, SE1, from £965,000 for a two-bedroom flat, and Evergreen in Green Lanes, N8, from £445,000 for a one-bed flat, giving buyers a £22,250 top-up.

Once a department store, SO Resi Ealing comprises 104 one, two and three-bedroom shared ownership apartments with rooftop and podium gardens, within walking distance of Ealing Broadway station.

Anyone reserving a one or two-bedroom home by the end of this month will be gifted 5% towards the deposit, saving at least £5,250.

Prices from £105,000 for a 25% share of a home with a full market price of £420,000.

Stamp duty paid

Get £15,000 off your stamp duty at Dandara’s New River View

At New River View in north London’s leafy Winchmore Hill, Dandara is offering £15,000 towards stamp duty on two-bedroom apartments, priced from £585,000, reserved between Black Friday and November 30. One and three-bedroom homes are also available.

Telford Homes is covering the cost of stamp duty

Reserve a selected one, two or three-bedroom flat this Friday to December 12 to get your stamp duty paid at these Telford Homes developments: Stone Studios in Hackney Wick, from £490,000, The Lock at Greenford Quay, from £395,000, and City North, Finsbury Park, from £715,000.
