Britney Spears drops major clue she’s playing Glastonbury 2023 with Elton John

Elton John is capping off Glastonbury Festival this Sunday night with his first-ever performance at the iconic festival.

The night is going to be even more special considering this will be his final-ever UK show.

As a result, the Rocketman has reportedly gone all out on the show he is bringing to Worthy Farm’s Pyramid Stage.

In recent days, it has been revealed he won’t be doing it alone, either. The 76-year-old is reportedly bringing four other stars to join him on stage.

Considering he has been in the music industry for decades, he has a lot of famous friends. But one major star has long been rumoured to join him on the show: Britney Spears.

Britney and Elton released Hold Me Closer last year, a collaborative song that celebrated the American’s exit from her conservatorship.

While Elton and Britney have been tight-lipped about whether they’ll be performing together this weekend, the Baby One More Time singer may have just slipped up.

Britney has been dropping some not-so-subtle hints on her Instagram this week. Yesterday, she posted a photo of an apple cut in the shape of the Union Jack.

Britney captioned this work of fruit art with some British flash emojis as well.

And, as if that wasn’t enough, Britney later posted what looked like an oil painting of a Mcdonald’s meal.

This image was also accompanied by a few Union Jack flags as well.

Considering the heavy rumours circulating about Britney joining Elton on stage, she certainly knows that her fans are hopeful she’ll make an appearance this weekend.
