Audio giant Bose has announced the launch of new Quietcomfort headphones in the US market. Dubbed QuietComfort 45, the new headphones come with a new Aware mode that lets in elements of your surroundings with the music you are listening to, an experience that Bose claims would make you forget you are wearing the headphones at all. The headphones come in Black and Light Gray options. The QuietComfort 45 headphones can be preordered now for $329.95 and will be available from September 23.
As of now, there is no confirmation about the product coming to India.
There are two special modes for listening to music on this headphone, the Aware mode, which we mentioned adobe and the Quiet mode. As per Bose, “In Quiet Mode, microphones inside and outside the ear cups combine with a proprietary digital chip to sense, measure, and respond to more unwanted sounds in mid-range frequencies — those typically found in commuter trains, busy office spaces, and cafés.”
The headphones do not vary much from their predecessors when it comes to their design except for a USB Type-C port which has come in the place of the micro USB port. As per the company, the headphones should last for 24 hours on a single charge and with a 15-minutes charge, can give you three hours of battery life.
The left ear cup of the headphone comes with a single button for switching in between Quiet and Aware modes, while the right ear cup has the volume buttons and the power button along with the Bluetooth pairing slider.
