Vijay Deverakonda comes from a show business-related family. Deverakonda Govardhan Rao, his father, was a Telugu television director.

When Vijay was younger, his family members would call him “Rowdy” whenever he misbehaved; this nickname eventually became used commonly. When he refers to his fans as “rowdies,” they adore him.

The actor arranged for three trucks that were completely stocked with ice cream to be transported to his fans in honour of his 29th birthday. The act was intended to ease their suffering from the intense heat.


Vijay Deverakonda has a successful acting career, but he has also dabbled in directing a short film called Madam Meerena. He finished the project as part of an assignment in under five hours.
