Britain’s Got Talent child star Hollie Steel looks unrecognisable as she celebrates her 24th birthday.
Back in 2009, the 10-year-old sang her heart out on the ITV talent show, impressing judges Simon Cowell, 63, and Amanda Holden, 52.
Hollie was one of the bookies’ favourites to win the show as she took the stage by storm after singing musical theatre hits, which wowed the judges and audience.
14 years on, Hollie looks very different to her Britain’s Got Talent days.
The Lancashire-born star has since gone on to release three albums and perform in huge venues like New York’s Carnegie Hall.
She also played Louisa von Trapp in the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber UK tour of The Sound of Music.
In 2017 Hollie went on to train at a London college for three years, where she graduated with a Diploma in Musical Theatre.
Her career has gone from strength to strength and in recent years, her talents have seen her mainly perform on cruise ships, allowing her to travel around the Caribbean.
Most recently, she starred as Frenchy in Grease on board Harmony of the Seas, up until last year.
Britain’s Got Talent fans still remember Hollie from her famous TV days, as back in 2009, she struggled with her debut on the small screen.
During one performance, things started to go wrong when she suffered a panic attack live on stage during the semi-finals.
She became distraught while performing Edelweiss and was left sobbing on stage when she “messed up”, with hosts Ant McPartlin, 47, and Declan Donnelly, 47, having to comfort her.
For the first time in the show’s history, the toughest judge of them all, Simon Cowell allowed distraught Hollie to restart her performance.
This led to her going through to the finals. However, dance group Diversity eventually went on to win the show.
Since her appearance on BGT Hollie has admitted she suffers from PTSD and had to have therapy to get over what happened on stage – which she has openly spoken about with The Sun.
Hollie has amassed over 22,000 followers on Instagram and has her own YouTube Channel with over 50,000 subscribers.
