BGMI has announced its first esports tournament with Rs 1 crore pool, prize. Krafton has partnered with smartphone brands for its biggest esports tournament for BGMI. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: In-game qualifiers
In the in-game qualifier round, players who will register with their team for the tournament will have to play 15 matches over the given time period. A total of 1024 teams will qualify for the next round.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Online qualifiers Round 1
The 1024 teams will be divided into 64 groups and each group will have to play 2 matches on specific dates. The top 8 teams from each group will qualify for Round 2 of the online qualifier.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Online qualifiers Round 2
The top 512 teams from Round 1 will be divided into 32 groups and each group will again play 2 matches each. The top 7 teams from each group will move to Round 3.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Online qualifiers Round 3
In Round 3, the selected 224 teams and 32 invited teams will be divided into 16 groups. Each group will play 2 matches each and the top four teams will qualify for Quarter Finals.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Quarter Finals
The top 64 teams from Round 3 will be divided into 4 groups. Each group will play 6 matches each. The top 4 teams from each group will qualify for the Semi-Finals. Rest will play Loser bracket.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Loser bracket
The remaining 48 teams will be seeded into 3 groups. Each group will play 6 matches each. The top 2 teams from each group based on the overall standings along with 2 teams with the maximum number of finishes amongst the 48 teams will qualify for the semi finals.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Semi-Finals
The selected 16 teams from Quarter Finals and 8 teams from Loser Bracket will be seeded into 3 groups who will compete against each other in a round-robin format. The top 16 teams with the highest points will qualify for Grand Finals.
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021: Grand Finale
The top 16 teams qualifying Semi-Finals will play 20 matches in 4 days. The team with the highest cumulative score in 20 matches will be declared the winner of the India Series 2021.
