Assassins Creed 1 Remaster Mod Looks Amazing

Digital Dreams shared some footage from a heavily modded version of Assassins Creed 1 recently, which is not shy away from an official remaster.

It’s been well over a decade since Ubisoft officially introduced the Assassins Creed franchise back in 2007, delivering a stealth-based story-driven experience that didn’t take too long to become one of the most popular video games franchises in the world.

Although the series might be away from its origins at the moment, people still love this franchise, and they would be extremely happy to get a remake or at least a remaster of the original entry.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has welcomed many different protagonists in each one of the entries, but Desmond Miles and his first ancestor, Altair, are always among the top choices of the community.

Assassins Creed 1 Heavily Modded Version Is as Beautiful as an Official Remaster

Digital Dreams has brought yet another “Beyond All Limits” project, and this time around, we are about to witness one of the beloved classics getting some a treat!

This incredible footage of Assassin’s Creed’s modded version showcases how the game would probably look like if we were about to get a remaster from Ubisoft in 2022. Using texture mods and reshade preset, Digital Dreams has managed to overhaul the visuals and lighting of the game, making it look phenomenal.

Unfortunately, some of the clunky animations might disappoint you, but this is something that no visual mod could improve. If you are thrilled to experience Altair’s journey again with this mod, make sure to visit the YouTube page of Digital Dreams, where you can find the link for every mod used in the footage above.

The original Assassin’s Creed was launched back in 2007 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. It is currently playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles through backward compatibility.
