Army conducts Motivational talk for youth to join forces in Poonch – Times of India

Jammu, Sept 20:Army conducted a motivational talk at Kulali, Poonch district on Tuesday for motivating the youth to join the force, a defence spokesperson said.
PRO Defence Jammu Lt Col Devender Anand said, “A large number of youths including girls students aspiring to join Army participated in this programme with great enthusiasm and curiosity.”
“The Motivational talk by experts from the Army provided guidance to the students in planning a career in the Indian Armed Forces based on their individual preferences and interests,” Col Anand added.
“The various entry schemes for recruitment, together with the pay, allowances and other entitlements were explained in detail.”
“Towards the end, participants were also briefed about the academic and physical requirements for joining as Officers and Other Ranks through various entries available for the purpose, Col Anand said.
“The gathering showed keen interest in the event as evident from their enthused participation in the interactive session during which the participants further clarified their doubts.”
“The attendees expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army for this educative and inspiring initiative, Defence spokesperson added.
