Apple Watch: These buttons may be the key difference between the two premium Apple Watch models of 2022 – Times of India

We are just a few days away from Apple’s Far Out event, where the company is expected to introduce new iPhones and new Apple Watch models among other products. One new addition to the Apple Watch lineup is expected to be a rugged ‘Pro’ Apple Watch for fitness enthusiasts. There have been a lot of rumours tipping the details on the alleged Apple Watch Pro. Now, a new rumour suggests that Apple may add more buttons on the Apple Watch Pro.
What will the buttons do
As reported by MacRumours, a Twitter user, Sonny Dickson, shared an image of a third-party casing for the rumoured Apple Watch Pro. The image of the case suggests that the ‘Pro’ model of the Apple Watch may feature extra buttons, maybe two, on the left-edge. Meanwhile, another tipster, DuanRuni, shared images of third-party cases for the Apple Watch Pro, and even these cases show space for housing extra buttons on the left-hand side.
We are not sure of what purpose these buttons would serve but if one were to guess these could be used to activate different fitness tracking modes. However, no one speaks about what these buttons do so it is recommended taking this with a pinch of salt.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that the Apple Watch Pro would be aimed at the fitness enthusiasts and the watch may have a rugged design made of titanium. Rumours suggest that the ‘Pro’ Apple Watch may have a flat screen instead of a curved one found on the Apple Watch. Furthermore, the Apple Watch Pro would have some fitness-centric features and better tracking for sports activities. The Apple Watch Pro is rumoured to cost somewhere between $90 (around Rs 71, 830) 0 to $1,000 (around Rs 79,810).
