Apple reveals important date all iPhone and MacBook users need to know

Apple fans should definitely pop June 5, 2023 in their diaries. That’s the date when the US technology giant will hold its next Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Although that might not sound thrilling, this is an important showcase for Apple with the company always using it to reveal the next batch of iPhone, Mac, iPad and Apple Watch software upgrades.

For those with an iPhone in their pocket, that means you’ll enjoy a brief tour of the new features coming in iOS 17. They’ll also almost certainly be first looks at macOS, iPadOS and watchOS upgrades.

And that’s not all. There are always a few surprises thrown in for good measure and 2023 could see one of the biggest new gadgets unveiled in years.

It’s long been rumoured that Apple is working on VR-style headset that will mix together virtual and physical worlds.

Although the firm always remains incredibly secretive about its upcoming releases some experts believe that the new gadget goggles will be shown to the world at WWDC.

“WWDC is one of our favorite times of the year at Apple because it’s an opportunity to connect with the talented developers from around the globe who make this community so extraordinary,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “WWDC23 is going to be our biggest and most exciting yet, and we can’t wait to see many of you online and in person at this very special event!”

With the official date now revealed it means there’s really not long left until we might find out full details about this device.

Whether there’s some shiny new hardware, or new features and designs coming to your existing iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and Apple TV …it promises to be a must-watch conference.
