Apple iPhone 13 line-up, Watch Series 7, new iPads launched. All highlights here

The Apple Event 2021 introduced the new iPhone 13 series with four new additions to the iPhone family. The company also launched the new iPad mini and new iPad. The Apple Watch Series 7 got a substantial upgrade in the form of a larger screen. 

iPhone 13 missed out on the big high refresh rate update. The cameras, however, have been enhance with larger pixels to provide better night-time images. 

iPhone 13 series is an incremental update compared to the previous generation. The iPhone 13 Pro display gets support for up to 120Hz refresh rate, which is the headline feature.

Highlights of the Apple event:

• The Apple iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be launched with stainless steel colours
• The company will provide the new Pro devices with up to 1TB memory option 
• iPhone 13 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 13 Pro starts at $1099
• The iPhone 13 Pro can also shoot videos with different depth levels within the Cinematic mode. 
• The Pro iPhones can also shoot Dolby Vision videos using the Cinematic mode.   
• The camera is a triple-lens setup that gets a primary lens, ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens
• The OLED display panels can support a brightness of up to 1000 nits
• The iPhone 13 Pro supports up to 120Hz of refresh rate. Apple calls it Pro Motion
• The iPhone 13 Pro has been revealed with four colours including Sierra Blue

• iPhone 13 to start from $799 and iPhone 13 mini for $699. The starting variant gets 128GB and the higher versions get 512GB internal storage
