EA recently launched the Apex Legends Mobile in India and the game has already made a name in the domestic mobile gaming market. Apex Legends Mobile introduced a new character called Fade, which is exclusive only to the mobile version. Now, it seems another new character could come to the game.
According to a report by TechRadar, Apex Legends Mobile is expected to include another new character named Loba with its first season update. The report is based on a tweet shared by Apex Legends Mobile Leaks that suggests that the Loba pieces and emoji packs have been found in the game which hints at the introduction of Loba as the next Legend in the game. Moreover, the tipster also claims to have found cosmetics and emotes related to Loba.
The report also suggests that Apex Legends Mobile is expected to include various elements from the console version in the upcoming updates.
Not a new name in Apex Legends universe
Loba is not a new character for the game as it is already available in the console version of Apex Legends. Initially, the character was introduced in the Apex Legends console version in 2019.
Apex Legends Mobile: About Loba
Loba has always served as a supporting character in the PC and console versions of Apex Legends. Players use this character to hunt high-tier loots as she is highly efficient in doing so. Loba has abilities like the Eye for Quality which allows her to see through walls to discover legendary and epic loot for the players. Her tactical abilities include Burglars’ Best Friend which allows her to teleport all over the map using her Jump Drive bracelet.
This character is also equipped with an ultimate ability called Black Market Boutique which allows her to place a portable device that brings nearby loot. Each ally or enemy can choose up to two items from the loot.
Five new Legends could come too
Apart from Loba, five new mobile-only Legends are also likely to be introduced to the game. They are Botanist, Seeker, Monkey King, Spider and Ampere. As of whether these characters are going to join the game, we will have to wait for an official announcement from EA.
