Andaaz producer Suneel Darshan revealed Priyanka Chopra Jonas had trouble learning Bollywood dance

riyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the most popular actresses in both Hollywood and Bollywood. Recently, in an interview, producer Suneel Darshan revealed that Priyanka struggled to learn Bollywood dance in the song Allah Kare Dil Na Lage for her first film Andaaz.

A source told a leading news portal that Priyanka could not dance the way the makers wanted her to but despite the best efforts from the team and Priyanka herself, the shoot was stopped and the unit had to return to Mumbai from Cape Town. After coming back to Mumbai, Suneel then enrolled Priyanka on a 45-day dance training with choreographer Veeru Krishnan.

The shoot then came back to Cape Town and Priyanka wore dancing shoes for the song. After this, the shooting proceeded smoothly and Suneel Darshan and Raj Kanwar were also happy.

Talking to the same news portal, Suneel said, “Yes, this happened. And exactly around that time, Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle was expecting their first child and her delivery date was round the corner. Akshay suggested that we take a break, return to Mumbai and come back a month or so later. And yes, I enrolled Priyanka with Veenu Prakash. Post that, however, it was all smooth.”

Andaaz is a 2003 romantic musical film directed by Raj Kanwar and produced by Suneel Darshan. It features Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Lara Dutta in lead roles.
