Amazon Prime subscribers can unlock new boxsets and movies for free

There’s great news for Prime and Prime Video subscribers with Amazon revealing users can now get access to more content for free this month. That’s all thanks to a new deal with Lionsgate+ which is now offering a whole 30 days of boxsets and movies without paying a penny for the privilege.

This premium Prime Video channel usually offers just a seven-day free trial but that’s been extended to celebrate its rebranding from StarzPlay to Lionsgate+.

Lionsgate+ usually costs £5.99 a month and like StarzPlay before offers exclusive access to a number of hit boxsets as well as popular movies.

A subscription will let you tune into popular shows such as The Great (starring Dakota Fanning and Nicholas Hoult), Outlander and Power Book.

Lionsgate+ is also the only place you can watch The Serpent Queen in the UK, a historical drama that boasts a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score.

The service is also home to a diverse range of movies (that you won’t usually be able to access on Prime Video without renting or buying it) such as Magic Mike, Halloween, Reservoir Dogs and much more.

To access Lionsgate+ and other Prime Video channels you will either need to be subscribed to Prime Video on its own or Amazon Prime.

A Prime Video subscription costs £5.99 a month while the price of Amazon Prime in the UK recently rose to £8.99. Anyone on the fence about the service can sign-up for a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial to try it out.

Besides access to the Prime Video library, an Amazon Prime subscription offers access to speedy Prime delivery, the Amazon Music library, Prime Reading, Prime Gaming and other perks.

If you sign-up for an Amazon Prime free trial right now you’ll also be able to take advantage of exclusive discounts that are about to go live.

Next week Amazon is holding its second Prime Day sale of the year, which will offer Amazon Prime subscribers exclusive access to deals and discounts.

The next Prime Day sale is taking place on October 11 and October 12, and in the run-up early deals have already gone live including free access to Music Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited and money-saving discounts on the Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick and more.
