Amazon ‘Inspire’ is company’s shoppable content feed inspired by TikTok, Instagram Reels – Times of India

Amazon has launched ‘Inspire‘, its new in-app shopping feed that offers personalised suggestions allowing users to shop for items on the e-commerce platform. The move is seen as a new way to increase engagement and generate more revenue. The Amazon feed essentially looks like the feed offered by TikTok and Instagram Reels wherein users get short videos based on their interests.
“Inspire is a new in-app shopping feed that’s personalised with shoppable photos and videos tailored to your selected interests and engagement. In just a few taps, discover new products or get inspiration on what to buy, all tailored to your interests, and then shop for those items on Amazon,” the company said in a blog post.
Amazon says that it takes into account preferences that are unique to each user. Amazon says it created “Inspire” to make shopping “easy and fun for customers.” As per the company, the feed will help customers explore new products and shop content created by other customers, influencers and brands.

Amazon Inspire availability
Amazon says Inspire in-app feed will roll out to select customers in the US. The company says that the app will be available in more countries in the coming months. This means that users in India need to wait.
How to find Inspire in the app?
Customers in the US can open the Amazon Shopping app, tap the “light bulb” icon on the bottom navigation bar, select their favourite interests and they are ready to go. Customers can tap the thumbnail of the product to read its reviews. It is to be noted that Inspire is only available on both Android and iOS apps.
Content creation for Inspire
Amazon says customers can submit a product review, which may appear in Inspire. These reviews can help customers make purchasing decisions. Furthermore, people can get enrolled in the Amazon Influencer Program and their photos/ videos may be published in Inspire. Brands also have an option to post photos eligible to appear in Inspire.
A vendor or seller can enrol in Brand Registry with an active Brand Store to be eligible for posting photos and videos.
