Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Huma Qureshi arrive at Akshay Kumar’s residence

Akshay Kumar lost his mother yesterday. He shared the sad news of his mother’s demise on social media. “She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti,” he wrote on Twitter.

His friends from the industry soon sent their condolences and shared in Akshay’s sorrow. “Dear Akki, Heartfelt condolences on your mother’s passing away.  May Arunaji’s soul find eternal peace. Condolences to you & your family. Om Shanti,” wrote Ajay Devgn on Twitter.

Today, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar and Huma Qureshi visited the actor’s residence to be there for him during this difficult time. Ajay is known to be close to Akshay while Twinkle Khanna and Karan are old friends. Huma had recently starred in Bell Bottom which had Akshay in the lead role.
