Adele, boyfriend Rich Paul goof off, show PDA in new photos: See their relationship timeline

Adele is sending her love with boyfriend Rich Paul to the entire internet.

The British singer posted a series of photos of the couple on Instagram Wednesday, including a photo of Adele and Paul goofing around in a fast-food restaurant and one of the couple sharing a kiss.

“Time flies,” Adele captioned the post.

Adele, 34, confirmed her relationship with the 40-year-old sports agent in an interview with Vogue in October, following months of speculation. “I just love being around him,” she said of Paul at the time. “I just love it.”

Adele was previously married to Simon Konecki, co-founder of Life Water, an eco-friendly brand of bottled water, from 2018-2019. The two share 9-year-old son Angelo. Paul has never been married, according to a profile published by the New Yorker, but he has three kids.

May 2021: Paul says he’s been ‘hanging out’ with a pop star

Paul told the New Yorker in May he’s “not dating” and “single.” But journalist Isaac Chotiner noted that the sports agent did let it slip during their interview that he had been “hanging out” with a major pop star. 

July 2021: First public appearance together

Adele and Paul were first spotted together during Game 5 of the NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks in Phoenix on July 17.

She later explained during her Vogue cover story in October that she “didn’t mean to go public” with their relationship. “I just wanted to go to the game,” she said. 

Although they didn’t publicly confirm their status at the time, Adele said she and Paul did know that being seen together publicly would spark dating rumors: “He was like, ‘What are people going to say?’ And I was like, ‘That you signed me. As an athlete. You’re my agent.’ And he was like, ‘Okay, cool.’ ” 

September 2021: Adele goes Instagram official 

Adele went Instagram official with Paul on Sept. 19. She shared a black-and-white photo booth image of herself and Paul snuggled up at Anthony Davis’ wedding.

She captioned the series of photos with a heart. 

October 2021: Adele officially confirms relationship

When opening up about her relationship with Paul, Adele said they first met years ago at a party after his dance moves caught her eye: “I was a bit drunk. I said: ‘Do you want to sign me? I’m an athlete now.’ He was dancing. All the other guys were just sitting around. He was just dancing away.” 

The “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” singer said they remained friends for a while. Then “Rich just incredibly arrived” in her life before her dad died in May.

“He was always there, I just didn’t see him,” she told Vogue. “I don’t feel anxious or nervous or frazzled. It’s quite the opposite. It’s wild.”

Adele added that Paul is “just so (expletive) funny.”

October 2021: Adele and Paul take their love courtside

The couple’s love was on full display at the Los Angeles Lakers season opener against the Golden State Warriors at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Oct. 19, 2021, where Adele sat courtside with Paul. Paul is the founder of Klutch Sports Group, which represents Lebron James and a number of prominent NBA stars. 

Basketball games seem to be the preferred date night for the couple: The pair were first spotted together in July 2021 during Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Phoenix, Arizona.

However, all eyes were on Adele’s courtside style. The singer wore a chic, head-to-toe, chocolate-brown leather ensemble from Altuzarra. The “Easy On Me” singer paired the look with a matching Louis Vuitton coat and heels.
