Hollywood actress Annie Wersching, known for her roles in TV series 24, Bosch, and Timeless and as a voice artist in the video game The Last of Us, passed away on Sunday, January 29 after battling with cancer for two years. She was 45 years old.
Confirming the news, her husband Stephen Full gave a statement to a renowned news organisation. He wrote, “There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for the adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall.”
In 2020, the actress was diagnosed with cancer.
On March 28, 1977, Anne Wersching was born in St. Louis in Missouri. She made her acting debut with a guest appearance on the sci-fi TV series Star Trek: Enterprise.
She is best known for her television roles as Renee Walker in 24, Julia Brasher in Bosch and Emma Whitmore in Timeless as well as a voice for the video game character Tess in The Last of Us.
She is also known for her guest appearance as Lily Salvatore in the 2009 popular TV show The Vampire Diaries. The actress was last seen in 2022 in the second season of Star Trek: Picard where she played the role of Borg Queen.
