Bloodborne: PC Port of the Much-Anticipated Game Is Already Done as a Dataminer Reveals Strong Evidence

Bloodborne on PC is real, or so has been claimed by a dataminer through strong evidence to back that claim. Dataminer Lance McDonald revealed that filename of some screenshots of Bloodborne, which point towards a fully playable PC version of the game.

Bloodborne on PC

It’s been a long and eager wait for die-hard fans of Bloodborne that one day, the game sees light of day on PC. McDonald has revealed that there exists a fully playable Bloodborne: The Old Hunters Edition on PC which is also capable of running the DLCs that were later released. He claims that the screenshots by FromSoftware environment artist Marcos Domenech were taken from the PC build and were uploaded on the Bloodborne Fandom wiki.

McDonald dissected the filename of screenshots and pointed out that screenshots of Oil Urns from the game are named “SPRJ-win64”. This is actually the filename that gets attached to any screenshot taken from the debug menu. He added, “They’re (screenshots) also clearly taken using the debug camera, which no one had access to until I released my patch a month ago.”

Most games are developed on PC, so there is always an early build of the game. However, he pointed out that since the screenshots are from Fishing Hamlet, it is not an early build and instead, the full game with its DLC running on PC.

“I’ve mentioned that I’ve seen Bloodborne running on Windows 7 before in a private setting, and that was a super early build from around May 2014. This is the first time we’ve seen the full game + DLC. Still, not like we’ll ever get our hands on it…”, he added to point that its existence does not necessarily mean we’ll ever get to play it.

“This is from years ago I only just noticed it today. I think a lot of people thought I was lying when I said Bloodborne already runs on PC and the dev team were using it regularly. But if you wanted actual proof, there you go,” concluded McDonald.

There will always be a conversation about Bloodborne and hope for it to arrive on PC. Maybe, it just might be what Sony plans to announce at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase on May 25 at 1:30 AM IST.
