Nick Cannon says he spends ‘most time’ with baby number 12
Nick Cannon, 42, admitted his eight-month-old daughter Onyx is “probably the child that I spend the most time with.”
The Masked Singer host gave fans a glimpse into his busy family life, as he explained how he fits his father-daughter time around his work schedule.
He said: “I’m with her at least three times a week, for the full day. But I don’t put that out there in the media, social media [because] it’s not for them.
“But you know, LaNisha [Cole] and I have a super strong understanding and our co-parenting operation is so solid.”
Cannon added on a recent episode of The Jason Lee Podcast: “If you see me on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays, my daughter [Onyx] is right next to me, whether I’m on set.”
He continued by revealing that he has a nursery in his office for Onyx, adding: I’m literally gonna leave here to make sure that I can spend the most time with her—not against all my other kids because all my other kids, they’re in school, they’re babies, as well as Onyx, but the fact that I appreciate that LaNisha gives me the respect enough to allow me to have [Onyx], really, as equal amount of time as [LaNisha] does.”
The revelation comes after Cannon previously claimed that he didn’t use condoms and that his partners were on birth control.
He recently also credited his “super sperm” for helping him procreate a whopping twelve times.
Speaking on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast, Nick said: “‘I’m gonna be honest, I got some super sperm or something, ’cause I’ve practised birth control, and people still got pregnant.
“I’m trying to be as responsible as I possibly can, learning lessons…”
Probed if he was planning to have any more children, Nick added: “I guess… yeah? I don’t wanna say yeah, and then, like, you know, it’s the reproductive system… it could happen at any time… I’m good with my dozen.”
Nick spoke about his reluctance to use contraception in a 2017 interview, speaking to Howard Stern about his reasoning.
Discussing his battle with the autoimmune disease Lupus he said: “I’m probably gonna die sooner than most people… so let’s f**k all night! So why wear condoms? I might not be here tomorrow!”
