Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are married! Couple wed in ‘joyous’ ceremony at Essex home
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have married in a private Jewish ceremony at their Essex mansion, which they lovingly dub Pickle Cottage.
The couple tied the knot on Sunday and partied with loved ones in a large marquee in their back garden.
The ceremony included a performance from TOWIE star James ‘Arg’ Argent who also DJ’d the party.
It is understood that other guests included Stacey’s Loose Women co-star Linda Robson as well as ex-TOWIE star Ricky Rayment.
A source told MailOnline: “Stacey and Joe had the best day of their lives. It was exactly everything they had hoped for, the weather was glorious, and they had a joyous day with their children and family.
“It was also important to Stacey for her day to uphold her strong Jewish values, as well as be a modern and fun day for everyone.
“They had always wanted their wedding to be just for them, at their home, and keeping their celebrations intimate did not disappoint.”
Stacey revealed yesterday that the couple will have two ceremonies to celebrate becoming a married couple.
She told her Instagram followers that they were having a “private blessing” with their loved ones first and would then legally register their nuptials afterwards.
A fan asked: “I always wanted to get married at home and didn’t think you could? How does it work?”
Stacey replied: ”To get married anywhere legally, the place has to have a ‘civil ceremony’ licence. One of the requirements for this license is that the premises must be made ‘readily available’ for ceremonies.
“As this is our private family home and we need it to remain that way we couldn’t go for that option.
“We are having a relaxed private blessing in front of our closest friends and family and a ceremony of our love to each other and we will register our marriage legally after.”
