10 heartwarming male characters that were said to be written by women

Characters frequently reflect the authors who created them. Men and women write their characters very differently, particularly when it comes to male characters who are required to display emotions. The term “written by a woman” appeared on the internet recently to refer to men who were considerate, affable, and unashamed of femininity. Think of love interests that aren’t the centre of the stories they exist in. They have their own motivations and characteristics apart from the protagonists’ personal growth, in contrast to the majority of female love interests written by men.

In contrast, the term “written by a guy” became popular to refer to female characters who were portrayed through the lens of a man. Male authors have come under fire for portraying women in their works as one-dimensional characters with minimal growth in comparison to men.

The days of males saving women only as macho heroes are long gone. Men in this time are empathetic, sensitive, and vulnerable. Guys who are capable of crying, who do not hesitate to ask for assistance when they need it, and who value the women in their lives, men who are not afraid to voice their emotions. The stereotype of the stereotypical hero has been significantly broken by the abundance of male characters in Bollywood written by women.

By creating compassionate, perceptive male characters who would rather support women than save them, female authors and filmmakers have really played a significant role in shattering clichés about masculinity.
